Lake Lewisville 4th of July Fireworks 2021

Lake Lewisville is a great place to visit for your July 4th Independence Day celebrations or any other time of the year for that matter.

The lake provides a wide variety of exciting activities for individuals, families, and groups of friends. If you are looking for a unique opportunity to celebrate Independence Day in 2021, we highly recommend Lake Lewisville Fireworks shows.

There are many opportunities to celebrate the nation’s independence with other members of the Lake Lewisville community.

For Independence Day 2021, you can watch fireworks shows on Lake Lewisville at Old Town, Little Elm Park, Frisco, Fair Park Fourth, and the Colony Five Star Complex. More venues will be announced soon.

July 4th Jubilee in Little Elm

The best show on the water on Lake Lewisville is always Little Elm. A great show from shore or on the lake, it's an all day party that ends in a huge fireworks display.

Frisco Freedom Fest Fireworks Show

One of the best shows in all of DFW is in Frisco. Traditionally held after the conclusion of an FC Dallas home game, the fireworks show can be seen from the water as well.

Best Places to Watch Lake Lewisville 4th of July Fireworks

July 4th is all about celebrating America’s independence together with family and friends with festival food, drinks, and of course fireworks.

Here are some of the top places to watch Lake Lewisville fireworks:

  • Little Elm Park in Little Elm. The park normally hosts a full-day event of fun crowned with an amazing fireworks show over Lake Lewisville after dark. You can watch the fireworks display on land or on the boat in the water.
  • Stewart Creek Branch. The very southeast branch of the lake leading up to Stewart Creek is a great place to see the fireworks in Frisco.
  • Middle of the Lake. Being an urban lake, you can anchor up right in the middle of Lake Lewisville and see lots of fireworks shows spanning from Denton to Dallas.

Lake Lewisville Fireworks at Old Town

There was little to celebrate during the 2020 lockdown so Lewisville city and other areas around the lake are planning to do things differently this year. Lewisville is planning to hold a major fireworks show on July 6th in Old Town at the close of the city’s Sound of Lewisville event.

This will also be the first time the city will hold a fireworks event since 2019. The event was canceled in 2020 due to COVID-19 concerns that resulted in a shutdown of almost all social events last year, including the famous Lake Lewisville Independence Day fireworks show.

The show was also postponed due to a shortfall in revenue due to the closure of businesses during the lockdown period. City Officials state that revenue is more favorable this time around and the number of COVID-19 infections is trending downwards.

The city is expecting to spend around $86,000 because of the extra costs of fencing, staging, and bussing among others by holding the fireworks event on July 6th after the end of the Sounds of Lewisville music concert.

Lake Lewisville is planning to hold its July 4th celebrations with a more spectacular fireworks display after last year’s cancellation.

There will be plenty of exciting activities for the family in different venues all weekend before the grand fireworks display on the evening of July 6.
